Golf Carts

Golf Cart

Does your back hurt or do your knees ache? Maybe to the point where you shouldn't be golfing anyway? You're not going to let a few little aches and pains get you away from the game you love so much are you?

Who am I kidding? Golf carts aren't just for those who can't walk long distances, they're for all of us. Everyone has the days were they'd rather be lazy and drive around the course looking for their golf ball they just sliced the hell out of.

Either way, riding around in a golf cart is a nice and relaxing way to play 18 holes. Think of it this way -- you don't need to carry your clubs on your back. You don't need to walk the entire length of the golf course which when you think about it is roughly 7000 yards, which converts to 21000 feet, which further converts to somewhere in between 4 to 5 miles. I mean that's a lot of walking -- and truth be told, most of us could use the exercise. Plus when riding in a golf cart you get to sit next to whoever you're playing with and actually hold a conversation with that person.

There are also the days where you just don't feel like walking. At most county courses, getting a cart with 18 holes is only an extra 10 bucks or so. It all depends on where you go.

There are people who buy their own golf carts, but I really don't see the point in that. Just rent one if you need one and let that be that.
