Golf Balls

Purchasing the right golf ball can increase your game dramatically. You'll want to buy a ball that's soft and does what you want it to do. For example:

  • Stick when you hit the green
  • Roll a few extra yards off the drive.

Buying a softer ball will also give you more control as you're hitting it.

I would recommend trying out a few different types of balls first before spending $40 on a pack of 12 golf balls. Your buddy might like a certain type of ball, but you find that you hit better with another brand. All that matters is what you like hitting and what you hit well with.

Here are a few brands that manufacture golf balls:

  • Nike
  • Callaway
  • Top-Flite
  • Spalding
  • Dunlop

As I said, see what you like and stick with that.
