Learn How Stretches For Golfers Can Improve Distance

November 7th, 2007

Golfers want distance. Every one of them! One of the quickest ways to get it is to implement stretches specific to golfers.
The golf swing is dynamic and very awkward. There is no other sport movement so unnatural and yet golfers expect to play great golf without working on the physical requirements.

The ONLY way to improve your golf swing mechanics, power and ultimately distance is by stretching your golf swing specific muscles in the exact same positions in your golf swing.

Learn How To Play Better Golf. Warm Up To Save Strokes

November 6th, 2007

Listen up. You are a golfing athlete! You must prepare your body to perform! The only way is to do a golf warm up routine that gets your golf swing muscles loose and ready to go.

I am not referring to hitting balls. I am talking about dynamic warm up exercises specific to golf. Do movements that are similar to your golf swing but that are movement-oriented, not holding type stretches.

Golfers Can Lose Weight Easily

September 17th, 2007

What percent of golfers do you think are overweight? Do you think they even care? I think they do, but they think it’s too hard to lose weight. I’m here to tell you it’s not! Losing weight is EASY! It doesn’t take deprivation. It doesn’t take going “on a diet”. In fact, diets don’t work, because if they did there would be ONE…not thousands, and new ones coming out everyday.

Another day at Mee-Kwon

June 28th, 2007

I went out to Mee-Kwon today with a few friends and played the back nine. The weather today was less the favorable, but it wasn’t horrible. I swear the wind was 20mph and ALWAYS in my face at every tee box. Nonetheless, I ended up shooting a 46. My iron shots weren’t the greatest, but my play around the green was solid. I don’t know what it is, but my putting and chipping this season has been awesome.

Hey guys, I finally have my review of G.R.I.P.’s new Fairway Wood and it’s posted here. Right now I don’t have any pictures up because I’m sure my digital camera is buried somewhere at the bottom of a box (I still have to finish unpacking), but don’t worry pictures and a video will soon follow. The guys over at G.R.I.P. make awesome clubs in an extremely affordable price range. Go check them out!

I’m back!

June 16th, 2007

Hello everyone, it’s been an interesting few months. To make a long story short, I’ve lived in three different places, been without internet for two months and just made it out to the course for the first time this season last week. Even though it was my first time out, I shot a 43 on the front and a 45 on the back which I’m completely happy with. Carding an 88 after 18 holes is nothing to shake a stick at in my book.

Terry Koehler’s — The Wedge Guy Blog

March 3rd, 2007

Mike, from Travelling Golfer, brought to my attention a new blog he created for the president of Eidolon Golf. Cool, right? Most definitely. Well, Terry Koehler is the president of Eidolon Golf and his blog is entitled “The Wedge Guy” — how fitting. He’s been in the golfing industry for 30 years now and has mainly focused on the aspects of the short game. He has a great knowledge base about the game we all love and would like to share it with everyone. Check his site out and leave him some comments.

Status Update

September 14th, 2006
Storm

I apologize for my lack of posts recently, but in my defense, my life has been quite hectic. Not only that, but the weather has been absolute crap, which means I couldn’t squeeze nine holes into my busy schedule even if I wanted to.

As I write this, the rain is falling harder than ever and the clouds don’t look like they’re ever going to close. This would be an ideal time to review the Card Golf Game I was sent a few weeks back, but alas I’m living my double life as a movie theater projectionist at a local cinema and I am at work right now. Yup, that’s right. I love golf and movies.

I figured since I love movies so much, why not make a movie blog? BeginnerGolfing seemed to work out quite well for golf, so why not do the same for movies? So I did. My Movie blog is VidFad.com and all I do there is ramble on and on about whatever I want to that’s movie related. It took me some time to launch it, so that added to my busy work load. My movie blog is interesting, at least that’s what I think. Check it out.

What else…?

Oh, I came across another HOT golfer picture in my Sports Illustrated Swimsuit calendar. I’ll make sure to take a picture of that in the next few days to share with the rest of you. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as the picture of Melissa Keller.

Anyway, back to the weather. Judging from the forecast, the rain should clear up within a few days and the temperature should get up to the mid 80’s. Finally, a good sign that there’s still more golfing to come this year. I remember last year, I was playing golf into the first week of November. Now, it’s only mid way through September and the weather is already looking dismal. I’d like at least another solid month of golf before the really bad stuff blows in.

Again, sorry for the lack of posts. I have a few things lined up to talk about and I’ll get that Card Golf game reviewed too. So, be sure to check out my movie blog and keep in touch.

It’s Time For More Funny Golf Videos!

September 1st, 2006

Being in a somewhat lighthearted mood today, I thought it was perfect time to post some funny golf videos. This first video is what appears to be bloopers of someone shooting a golf instructional video. He just can’t seem to hit a decent shot. I laugh so hard every time I see this.

This next video is this guy who gets his entire arm stuck in his golf bag. Apparently, he dropped his beer down at the bottom of his bag, reached in to get it, and then got his whole arm stuck. This one’s pretty hilarious too. Have fun.
